Senior Account Executive

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Maxwell, an award-winning integrated communications agency serving national purpose-driven brands, is looking for a public relations program driver for our natural food and wellness brands. A self-starter who thrives working in a collaborative team environment, the ideal candidate brings strong experience with public relations programs, including earned media and influencer relations – with experience working with integrated campaigns a plus.

 

Grow Your Career

  • Manage multiple PR projects from start to finish
  • Help develop and drive creative product launches and ongoing programs, integrating traditional media relations, influencer marketing and content strategies
  • Demonstrate understanding of client business strategies, products and services offered, and ensure these are reflected in communications and programs
  • Draft written materials, as a brand steward
  • Develop and maintain journalist and influencer relationships
  • Spot and capitalize on timely consumer trends – applying to content creation, media and influencer opportunities
  • Lead efforts to analyze and report on performance
  • Work with account managers to develop and manage scopes of work, timelines and budgets
  • Mentor junior staff

 

Bring Your Skills

  • 3+ years public relations experience, agency preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, PR or communication preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously to deliver client work on-time and on-budget
  • Highly accountable and deadline driven
  • Strategic thinker with good judgement, with a lens for supporting client objectives
  • Calm and courteous under pressure
  • A curious learner, collaborative and open to feedback and growth
