Creative Director

To help deliver impactful work for a variety of independent category leaders and up-and-coming food, wellness and hospitality brands, we’re looking for a Creative Director with fresh ideas and a knack for rallying a team. The CD will lead and grow a team of passionate, thoughtful, and talented multi-disciplinary creatives hungry to do their best work yet. This role will oversee all phases of creative, from idea shaping and concept crystallization to implementation of top-notch final deliverables. They will bring their expert ability to stay focused on objectives while balancing the pursuit of big ideas with the realities of project scopes and timelines. The ideal candidate does their best work for consumer brands, flexing thinking across channels and mediums on projects large and small. They are equal parts leader, strategic thinker, problem solver and doer.

Grow Your Career

  • Own creative projects, leading the team from ideation to production, ensuring quality and cohesion
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop a diverse range of creative work including; integrated campaigns, product launches, social media content, marketing materials, packaging refreshes, brand transformations and unique experiences, on and offline
  • Lead creative presentations, selling in concepts with confidence and presence
  • Drive client brand relevance by seeking out fresh ways for brands to show up
  • Communicate honestly, respectfully, and clearly with an aim for positive results
  • Manage the creative team through check-ins, directing activities for professional development, conducting internal creative workshops and recommending promotion of team members based on their productivity and skills
  • Identify and collaborate with external talent as needed to achieve project objectives
  • Contribute creative strategy in support of successful new business pitches
  • Ensure agency profitability without compromising the creative quality of projects
  • Constantly enhance creative workflow and processes to ensure a competitive edge and team motivation
  • Ready and willing to be hands-on, crafting high-level creative as well as coaching others to do so

Bring Your Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience, agency experience preferred (with 2+ years leading and managing creative teams of various levels)
  • Background in design, creative, advertising, or related field preferred
  • Ability to spot and grasp key brand insights, and transform into ground-breaking creative that supports business strategy
  • Experience leading creative projects from social, print and web
  • Experience directing video and photoshoots
  • Strong ability to sketch/storyboard and visually communicate ideas
  • Detail-oriented and attuned to delivering work that captures brand nuances
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating brand-building ideas and executions
  • Ability to lead creative teams, ensuring role clarity, clear expectations and accountability
  • Effortless ability to collaborate with varying teams, departments and clients
  • Proficiency in tools for design, presentation and prototyping including Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides and Microsoft Suite
